Basic Obedience for Dogs 7months and older

NOVICE Obedience
Novice Obedience Class
Your dog has the basics of "sit", "down", and "stay". When you walk within 15 feet of people and dogs, your dog gives you reasonable focus (no lunging or barking at other dogs) ...so what's next? This 6-session class will refine your current sit, down, and stay at increasing distance and with stronger distraction. We will focuse on refining technical aspects of directional changes on leash. We will practice different methods of rewarding to motivate and encourage good habits in positioning and compliance.

Rally Obedience for Beginners
Obedience with a Fun Twist!
Rally Obedience is a dog sport that combines traditional obedience training with agility-like fun. Unlike traditional obedience trials, which are often more formal and strict, rally obedience allows you to talk to and encourage your dog throughout the course.

- Course-based: Teams follow a pre-set course marked with signs that indicate specific exercises.

Intermediate Rally Obedience
Rally Intermediate Class
This class is designed for those who have already demonstrated skills at the Rally Novice level and are ready to go to the next step.
Learn to:
- Pivot
- Dog Circles
- Heel while moving Backward
- Double About Turn
- Recall over Jump
- Send your dog away to a sit
This 5-week session runs continually. Most choose to repeat the class multiple times as some skills are more complex and take longer to master.

- Prerequisite: Rally Novice Class or Rally Novice B Title
- Each class is a series of five (5) sessions focused on introduction to the AKC Intermediate Level signs.
