This These six (6) sessions provide teams with an introduction to agility as a sport as well as foundations for handling, safely maneuvering obstacles, and future coursework.

Intro to Agility
- Prerequisite: Introduction to Dog Sports, Basic Obedience or evaluation by the agility instructor to demonstrate ability of handler to control and focus dog.

Novice Agility
Novice Agility Class
This six (6) session enrollment is designed for the handler/dog team that wishes to earn their first titles in Agility. Most participants take this course multiple times as a good number of skills are taught and practiced through drills and courses adjusted for levels within the "Novice" framework.
The goal of this class is to prepare for Agility Course Test 1 and Agility Course Test Jumpers 1 (ACT1, ACTJ1). We will video for virtual titles as dog and handler are ready.
Some participants may progress to ACT2 and ACTJ2 as skills develop. This course can be taken multiple times to build confidence and progress at your own pace. Teams will be introduced to more complex sequences and obstacles.

- Prerequisite: "Introduction to Agility Fun" class or evaluation by the agility instructor to demonstrate topics learned in that class.
